So happy and so scared (I will eat a donut everyday)that we have a Winchell's around the corner from me..there goes my diet lol
The donuts are delicious, best I've had in a long time. Very fresh and a great variety. Soft and yummy. They were giving samples of their tuna salad sandwiches. Um amazing!!! I'm going back for lunch. Soda is really good. Might sound weird me saying that but not all machines are the same. Flavor is really good. And .99 for any size.
Ok as for their breakfast bagel..well not the best. The bagel is really good but the egg is a little weird. But edible.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
They are off to a great start!!!
I do feel bad for the local donut/bagel shops. But I guess thats the nature the beast.
P.s. donuts need a little more filling -

Donuts not cooked good. Raw on the inside !!!! You can even mess around with the dough and make something else. That's how raw it is .

Came in later in the evening and everything looked FRESH! Clean. Nice staff. Welcoming environment. Couple of tables occupied by folks just relaxing and enjoying their coffee and donuts. Safe and comfortable surroundings. Girl at counter offered excellent service. Menu is more expansive than you might expect. Bagel sandwiches of every kind imaginable and a wide variety of beverages, including cream shakes, fruit smoothies and shaved ice, also carrot juice and beet juice drinks.

Best place to get a coffee, always quiet and friendly
just don't be surprised if your order takes long cause you are number eight in line, as long as you're not one of those people whom think they have to be served first, you'll be ok.
By the way try the cinnamon coffee! and the chorizo burrito -

Went in on a Sunday around noon. They had a good fresh selection. We ordered half a dozen donuts which were close to 8 dollars.
I don't know if that was a good price or not but the donuts were yummy.
Customer service was lacking. Girl never smiled or even acknowledged us when we came in. Took our order with a smile as well even though we were trying to be friendly.
Winchells has sentimental spot for me so it bummer me out the customer service was not there. Not sure if I will go back.
